Discover the interview of Teona Gedenidze from Lidenbrock Consultants:

How did you become designer?

My creative and design side emerged partly spontaneously and partly through meeting my fiancé, the Creative Director of our agency. My career began as a Product Manager at Publicis Tbilisi, and later, while working on my own brands in the e-commerce field, I developed my creative side by constantly researching, learning, and nurturing it. This aspect of my personality became more clearly defined with my partner, and now we have created a shared design language.

How would you define your vision of design, your style?

Our design vision is to help brands create their own Fair Tales, stories and have memorable identities.

Fairy tales, myths, and stories are narratives, roots, told for thousands of years and still influential, nourishing and shaping us, passed down from generation to generation. I try to incorporate this understanding and heritage into our designs for brands. To create timeless and memorable designs and identities for brands that will be passed down from generation to generation.

For the future, what are your professional projects?

Currently, we are working on a new brand renewal and development for a Nepal-based electric motorcycle brand. When we complete this project, we will have realized a design project with an identity that has never been attempted or done before in that region. Among our future projects, we also have some very important brand development efforts that we are developing in-house and that have very few equivalents. We want to bring these to life calmly and steadily.

What do you like the most in your job?.

Learning. Our job definitely doesn’t tolerate ego, and you can’t say “I’ve arrived.” You always have to learn, renew yourself, and improve. You have to constantly nourish yourself. People, books, museums, films, and so many other things are actually a school for us. Every project means new research and learning something new. That’s why I love this part of my job the most.
