How did you become designer ?

I have always dreamed about having a job that involved tons of creativity and innovation. When I was studying my bachelors degree I started winning prices that involved Brand Identity and discovered the real beauty of this branch. I visualized brands as human beings that needed to be inserted in this new market. Innovating for my client’s business strategies and visual identity for their companies has being my passion for more that eight years now.

How would you define your vision of design, your style ? 

I come from Ecuador, a country full of color, passion and folklore. I have also lived in many countries such as : U.S.A, France and Italy and each of them have given me a different inspiration of style. I believe each brand has its own personality and my job is to create something that is true to the brand’s personality and needs, sometimes I might need to use hints of folk and fun elements and sometimes I try to be as minimalist as possible. I would say that my favorite quite is: KISS = KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID.

For the future, what are your professional projects ?

Before I built my own studio I worked for a kitchenware company designing products and being their Creative Director. My passion for food was what got me the job, and I love creating brands for the Food and Beverage Industry. I have a Masters degree in Product Design and my dream for the future is to design for restaurants and food brands integrally, designing their brands, packaging and interior spaces as well.

The freedom I have, the adrenaline I get before starting a new project and the
beautiful relationships I build with all my clients.
