How did you become designer ?
I have always been interested in art and creativity since my childhood. My design career started when I moved to the United States from Japan. I studied graphic design at the School of Visual Arts in New York and met the best design teachers. I have been working in creative field since I graduated with honors. Over 13 years, I still love what I do and working as a designer.
How would you define your vision of design, your style ?
Simplistic style is a key to my design. Kanso in Japanese refers to the elimination of clutter-of what is nonessentional. It is one of the founding principles of Japanese design and a hallmark of my work. Kanso reminds me to think in terms of clarify rather than decoration. I focus on quality, clean and simple design to help my clients build a personal brand and grow their business.
For the future, what are your professional projects ?
My plan for the future is to expand working on design projects with clients in worldwide. Design has no boundary.
What do you like the most in your job ?
I like solving problems and working on a project with a client as a team. I am results-oriented and I am passionate about making my clients happy.
