How did you become designer?

When I was a child, music and arts were everything to me. I was continuously doodling and drawing on literally anything I found. It soon caught the sharp eyes of my arts teacher. He showed me how much freedom it provides to see and create in any part of the world of arts. He saw creativity in me, and helped me develop it without any boundaries.

After arts and crafts high-school, I studied at the Hungarian University for Applied Art (MOME), and graduated as a designer. After uni, me and my friends had the great idea of establishing a design studio. We entered the great unknown without any capital, but with some experience and a lot of enthusiasm. Our boldness, our desire to explore and our tenacity turned out to be a fruitful investment. Within a short time, major agencies and multinational companies became our clients.

How would you define your vision of design, your style?

I believe design is not only a formality but a way of strategic thinking that should show in sales and result in a market success in every way. A well-established visual image does not only transmit information but is the most direct representation of the brand’s values: it influences one’s feelings and raises desire and then action. I believe in the power of minor jobs, when small details matter and when they become whole, they can turn out to be something rather major in the end.

For the future, what are your professional projects?

I would like to achieve being recognised as a professionally trustworthy, prospective long-time partner, based on the success of our previous brand design work. I believe in team work when given the experience and the professionalism, we come up with new, innovative solutions that are both novel and easily executable. I think it is important that we can ensure a unique image for our client’s brands and make them able to become special, attractive marketers that deserve attention. I am sure that common thinking, good strategy, good design and fastidious execution all result in a successful market presence.

What do you like the most in your job?

The best thing about our work is that you can feel free doing what you like and it’s never the same: there is a continuous motivation for finding new solutions. It is exciting to create new things by thinking, working and celebrating success together with colleagues. It is cool to see our products and design finding their place in a home, accepted by its inhabitants as part of their lives.
