Discover the interview with Hurtikonn Design:

How did you become a designer?
I am not yet one, I am only 17, but I intend to become one: it is my main objective.
Being in studies, I prepare a baccalaureate STD2A (Sciences and Technologies of Design and Applied Arts) which allows me to enrich my knowledge, to establish the technical bases and to practise a broad panel of artistic disciplines. I study and analyse all areas of applied arts (product design, space design, signage, graphic design and even fashion design). These discoveries inspire me to create my personal graphic projects which can be seen on my website.

I have been learning DTP software for a year and a half now to create my projects: Logotype, Branding, Packaging, Advertising campaign and Motion design, it is my passion.
I plan to continue my studies in a school in Belgium, specialised in graphic arts and visual communication.

How would you define your design vision, your style?
From decade to decade, graphic design is omnipresent around us and is developing on more and more digital media. This bulimia of information makes the visibility of each creation more complex, but it offers a richness of graphic culture. It is therefore essential that the design stands out and captures the attention of the consumer who is very solicitous by the multitude of advertising content or information. For me, design must be striking by adopting a refined, creative style that targets a specific audience. It’s difficult to define my graphic style but I tend to have a minimalist approach. However, I can adapt and define a more complex design if necessary.

For the future, what are your professional projects?
In the future, I want to create more and more sophisticated projects with an even more realistic look. I hope to have the opportunity to create and produce real models and scenes. I am looking forward to designing visual identities for real clients and maybe having the opportunity to have one of my projects come to life. I’m interested in 3d modeling and UI/UX design. I’m just starting out so I’m keeping these goals in the back of my mind.

What do you like the most in your job ?
I love the idea of knowing that I still have many areas to explore in the graphic arts. I also love the constant learning of new techniques and technologies to improve myself. You’re always evolving, with every creation, with every idea. I’m always looking at what’s going on in the world, getting ideas, sketching. I am happy every moment I create, I feel free.
