Greatergood Brands - Daniel Hinde

Discover the interview of Greatergood Brands – Daniel Hinde:

How did you become designer?

I became a designer at quite an early age – gaining my first (very small) clients at around age 14. It truly felt like a passion and I would spend every day and evening learning about design fundamentals, art movements, typography, branding – and then put these skills to use with the groups of clients I had started to gather.

How would you define your vision of design, your style?

At Greatergood Brands® we specialise in crafting consumer facing brands, products and experiences. In FMCG and CPG and in particular packaging design, brands often find themselves on shelves and in front of consumers, and realise that their brand, packaging, messaging and brand story are not making sense to consumers and competing in a sea of other brands trying to make the same noise. Our work cuts through the complexity, breathing life and logic into brands.

For the future, what are your professional projects?

We have some really exciting projects on the horizon and are looking to expand our work into more purpose driven brands, and “brands of the future”. We want to work with people, products and projects that inspire us – our agency name is a testament to this.

What do you like the most in your job?

At Greatergood® we work on some really fantastic briefs and are lucky to work in quite an exciting area of design. Something I find most rewarding within design is the problem solving, that really comes to life when you are working within packaging design and get to see your work rolled out on such a large scale.
