Graphical Activity - Bruno Roch

Discover the interview of Graphical Activity – Bruno Roch :

How did you become designer?

First of all, I begin to learn about communication and marketing at university. During theses years, I learn a little bit about graphic design. After that, I become graphic designer as freelancer and start to work for family businesses. After 5 years as graphic design, I’m starting to reap the fruits of my work, and it’s a real pride to be able to be recognized for my expertise, for my vision, and for my state of mind.

How would you define your vision of design, your style?

For me, any graphic design work should be practical and tangible. It must be useful at every moment of the company’s life, and must be functional. As a craft man, I build logo and brand identity from scratch, start from a piece of paper and step by step, create the best for my client. Also for me, graphic design is a team construction between my and my client, between what they say and what I digest from what they give to me.

For the future, what are your professional projects?

I would like to create a community of graphic designers to offer my clients the best work possible. I would also like to write a book on my vision of graphic design and communication where the human would be at the center, not as a customer who spends, but as a real person who interacts with the world around him.

What do you like the most in your job?

I really appreciate being the first step of a company, because logo and brand identity is for me the most important. Be a part of the journey makes me very proud. Entrepreneurship is not an easy thing every day, but it is a situation in which everything is possible and helping other entrepreneurs to communicate, to make themselves known, is very edifying for me.
