Discover the interview of FLOV – Grzegorz Chorostecki:
How did you become designer?
The passion for design was born in my university period, when I was involved in advertising and reportage photography.
For several years I was also involved in flash animation, which I turned into packaging and advertising materials design. Naturally, the fascination with building a brand started my work on the branding strategy and its implementation in the form of visual identification of brands.
How would you define your vision of design, your style?
I love minimalism and modern graphic form to the same extent as advanced and extensive graphics based on illustrations or photomontages.
It is difficult for me to clearly define my „style”, I try to play with many aesthetics and it is precisely combining elements that are sometimes extreme and do not fit, which gives me the feeling of creating something completely new.
For the future, what are your professional projects?
I try to run my studio and my team I I focus in various directions to achieve maximum creativity and develop both myself and the people with whom I work every day.
We work great in cooperation with craft brands or start-ups, but we also get a lot of pleasure from cooperation with large and recognizable brands from around the world.
I want to develop in building strong brands and designing packaging that will be iconic somehow in the future.
What do you like the most in your job?
Freedom of action, open minds of our clients and lack of boredom due to taking up new challenges. Creative freedom gives me a lot of enthusiasm for new projects that are both fulfillment and a great lesson for me as a designer.
