Eleonore Eisath from Milk Food

Discover the interview of Eleonore Eisath from Milk Food:

How did you become designer?

I loved to draw ever since I was able to hold a pen, but I didn’t want to become an artist. At the same time, I was fascinated by technology, materials and how things work. So when I found that there’s a job called “Industrial Designer”, which unites the those to passions of mine, I knew what I immediately that this is the right path for me.

How would you define your vision of design, your style?

I’m not a classical designer, as I work on the interference of sustainablility, entrepreneurship and design, and I would say that this also shapes my style. My vision is to use design and the power of visualisation to make the world a better place.

For the future, what are your professional projects?

I lead the Innovation Lab of the packaging design agency MILK., where we work mostly for the food and beverage industry. There are many exiciting new projects coming up next year, as the industry faces major changes in packaging regulation, especially when it comes to sustainability. I’m excited to be part of that transformation process.

What do you like the most in your job?.

I like that design shapes the world how we see it, and can also shape the way we see the future.
