Discover the interview of Eder Franco from Pixeldog:
How did you become designer?
I’ve always been fascinated by visuals: colours, shapes, and graphic details. From a young age, I was drawn to the design of toys, packaging, and even books, which I often bought just for their graphic quality. I wanted to understand how all of that was made. That curiosity led me to design, a field where learning never ends, and that has become the work of my life.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in agencies and corporate environments until I founded Pixeldog, a creative studio born to turn ideas into real projects.
How would you define your vision of design, your style?
I like to move between minimalist aesthetics and a more colourful, almost cartoon-like design: it all depends on the client and the story that needs to be told.
I seek to understand design in all its forms: from luxury to retail, from technology to concept-driven work. I believe design should adapt to context while maintaining authenticity and emotion. For me, every project is an opportunity to build visual narratives that genuinely combine creativity and strategy.
For the future, what are your professional projects?
My focus is on continuing to structure and expand Pixeldog, a space I created to bring ideas to life and out into the world. I want to strengthen the studio as a creative ecosystem, bringing new people to the team and developing projects that connect design, emotion, and business results.
What do you like the most in your job?.
I love having several projects happening at the same time, in completely different areas: whether it’s visual identity, packaging, websites, or editorial work.
Each challenge is a chance to learn, experiment, and connect techniques: graphic processes, finishes, illustrations, textures. Seeing all of that come together into a cohesive, meaningful project is, without a doubt, the most rewarding part of what I do.
