Discover the interview of Clare Lynch from Clare Lynch Creative:

How did you become designer?

I always had a passion for art and design growing up, so decided to follow the path to becoming a graphic designer, by studying Art & Design, Visual Arts and Multimedia. My first design position was with a global brand agency, The Brand Union, which inspired my love of branding and the process of research, benchmarking and creation to lead to unique and interesting brands and brand experiences.

How would you define your vision of design, your style?

Each project is unique as each client brief is individual to each project and what fits right for that client and their target audience – and in doing that, I create a bespoke brand and design approach for each client. Therefore I don’t think I follow any one style. Looking on my previous projects, I would say what they have in common that they are professional and clean, while bringing a unique creative and sometimes quirky / fun approach to each project.

For the future, what are your professional projects?

I aim to continue to specialise in Branding and Packaging Design, incorporating my expertise in this area, my creativity, my love of crafting unique brands and packaging, and also my illustration skills in to each project, where relevant.

What do you like the most in your job?

I enjoy researching each new client’s business and immersing myself in their world. From there, I take those insights and explore creative solutions that align with their brand goals. I love collaborating with clients to develop ideas into outcomes they’re excited about – solutions that drive real results for their business. Seeing new brands I’ve created launched and succeed in the market is really rewarding. It’s always a bonus when I spot one of the brands or products I’ve helped create out in the real world.
