How did you become designer ?

For as long as I can remember, I loved to draw and to invent something interesting, were they games, pictures or adventures. I graduated from School of Fine Arts in childhood and thought about the artist’s career. But when I finished school I decided to choose a more practical yet creative specialty at the same time. Thus, I began to study at the Technical University on the specialty of Design and Printing Technology. After graduating from university, I was working as a printer at a large printing house for several months. Graphic design became my passion during university years, but I wanted to gain practical knowledge of the entire manufacturing process.
Then I changed job and started working as a graphic designer in a newly opened printing house.
I continued to be engaged in design process at home after the working days – I wanted to grow fast as a professional.
Then I changed working place again and again – for the better one every time.
Now I’m working as a freelancer. It gives greater creative and personal freedom and independence.

How would you define your vision of design, your style ?

I consider myself as a growing designer, not like the established professional.
I like and apply different styles – it depends on a specific task. In general, I try to create smart and sophisticated look. Minimalistic rather than full of details. Also, I prefer strong color accents.

For the future, what are your professional projects ?

May be coffee house branding.

What do you like the most in your job ?

I’m excited with unlimited possibilities of design world. I mean that as a designer you can work with logos, infographics, package, typography, collage, animation, video, branding, illustration – it can take entire life to master at least some of these tools. But even a relatively superficial acquaintance with these fields gives greater freedom of expression.
