Kontos S.A. entrusted us with redesigning the “From Grandpa’s Garden” tomato sauce series, aiming to preserve its traditional charm while infusing a fresh, creative edge. The challenge was to translate homemade warmth and Greek authenticity into a modern visual identity that feels genuine and inviting.

Keeping the iconic “grandfather” portrait at the heart of the label, we used vibrant colors and hand-drawn vegetable illustrations to celebrate the natural ingredients. The aesthetic blends retro warmth with modern clarity, giving each label a handcrafted, yet clean and contemporary feel.

Each flavor carries its own color signature red, green, golden emphasizing freshness and individuality. The transparent glass jars let the product itself become part of the storytelling, creating a visual dialogue between content and design.

The series now radiates a cohesive but expressive identity, a packaging line that speaks of heritage, honesty, and creativity. Design that tells a story of taste, origin, and emotion, a true celebration of Greek flavor and craftsmanship.
