Vega Harnina is a gourmet food brand from Extremadura. Its mission is to honour traditional local products through a contemporary approach, always respecting their handcrafted origin. The goal of this project was to express the brand’s strong connection to its territory without losing the sophistication required for its premium range of single-varietal extra virgin olive oils.
Conceptually, the design sought to embody the brand’s philosophy by honouring the traditional wisdom passed down from generation to generation — the knowledge that makes it possible for us to continue enjoying products as essential as extra virgin olive oil. This heritage, combined with a deep respect for nature, led us to Extremaduran folklore, specifically to the floral motifs found in traditional regional garments, symbols of identity and connection to the land.
The design gives this folklore a leading role: traditional floral patterns are reinterpreted and intertwined with olive branches, creating a direct visual link to the product. It is a tribute to generations of artisans who have preserved and shared their knowledge. The result is a design that does not seek to present this AOVE as ostentatious luxury, but rather to move through simplicity and beauty.
