Le Gita Cakes is a rebrand of a family-run bakery founded in 1972 in Pontianak, Indonesia. The project repositions the brand to appeal to a new generation while preserving its legacy as a trusted local institution. The identity centres on a refined packaging system for its signature products, combining detailed illustrations with gold accents to evoke a sense of heritage, care, and quality. Drawing on the brand’s origins as a grandmother-founded business, the visual language reflects themes of tradition and gift-giving, translating personal history into a contemporary yet enduring expression.
