TAM is a ginger beer brewed for people who like things with a little more zing. Made in small batches in the Basque Country with real ginger, it’s fizzy, fiery, and a little cheeky. With four distinct flavors (Original, Spiced, Lemon, and Mint) TAM is crafted to match different personalities, from the heat-seekers to the zest-lovers, proving that ginger is never one-size-fits-all.
When we approached the branding, the ambition was clear: give ginger beer the same boldness and edge you would expect from a microbrewery. Rather than feeling like a “soft” or secondary option, TAM needed to stand proudly alongside craft brews. That vision shaped a design language that is unapologetically vibrant and contemporary, rooted in gradients, textures, and irregular forms that echo both the rawness of ginger and the energy of something handmade and small-scale.
The logo reflects this duality. Drawing inspiration from the breweries we’ve known in the Basque Country, Belgium, and Vermont (often tucked away in industrial units where experimentation thrives) we combined the clean, industrial geometry of those spaces with the organic irregularity of ginger. The result is a wordmark that feels structured yet generous, confident yet imperfect, balancing craft and rawness much like the drink itself.
Visually, the irregular shapes inspired by ginger became a graphic foundation, abstracted into flowing silhouettes that shift across applications. These shapes, paired with layered gradients and subtle grain textures, evoke both fermentation and fizz, adding depth and energy to every touchpoint. Each flavor variant introduces its own color palette — fiery reds and oranges for Spiced, vibrant yellows for Lemon, cool greens for Mint, and friendly blues for Original — creating distinction while staying cohesive.
TAM isn’t just another craft beverage. It is a small-batch fizz with a fiery twist. A celebration of energy, difference, and bold flavor, bottled up in a brand identity that is as refreshing to look at as it is to drink.
