Brief: Design a unique new product packaging aimed at promoting Malaysia’s diverse culture, using visual representations of its traditional customs to convey its flavors and cultural essence.
Challenge: Create packaging that effectively reflects and communicates Malaysia’s multicultural heritage.
Inspire consumers to explore culinary traditions, foster creativity, and bring the essence of Malaysia’s diverse culture into their kitchens.

Solution:Introduce the fusion sauce series “Cham Sauce” to showcase Malaysia’s diverse culture. The product packaging uses traditional Malaysian methods, featuring banana leaves and newspapers. The newspapers are illustrated with articles about food and cooking culture in a Malaysian style. The series includes three sauce flavours, each blending six classic Malaysian sauces, including KamHeong Sambal, blending Chinese and Malay cultures; Asam Belacan, blending Malay and Indian cultures; and Seafood Curry, blending Chinese and Indian cultures.This packaging aims to provide consumers with a taste of Malaysia’s diverse flavours and cultural experience, allowing customers to bring the essence of Malaysia’s multiculturalism into their kitchens.
