How did you become designer ?

I guess some kind of art was running in my blood since a very young age but I couldn’t realize at that time that design may play a significant role in my life. I remembered myself drawing and painting since kindergarten but the thought of becoming a designer never crossed my mind. It was only when I was trying to decide what studies I should follow that I realized that this was it. Design.

How would you define your vision of design, your style ?

Hmm.. If I should define it, I would say clean and to the point. But in order to be true to myself, design is an applied art, so every project demands its own style in order for the service or product to meet its needs.

For the future, what are your professional projects ?

I would like to invest in some old school design techniques and apply them in branding in order to rediscover my design self.
I am in the redesign phase of “Plan Be”, a monthly magazine published in Greece. And last but not least, I would like to invest my free time (I wish!!) in motion design.

What do you like the most in your job ?

The most fascinating thing in graphic design is that every project is an opportunity to discover and learn something new. In the design process and in order to deliver the best outcome for my client, I have to conduct research on the product/service, to learn in depth their advantages and their unique characteristics so I am able to communicate them in the best way and in the correct target group.
To keep it brief, for me, every project is like travelling to a country that you have never been before, where all your senses are stretched as you are trying to absorb everything new.
