How did you become designer ?
I was more interested in psychology and laws rather than design; when I was searching for a career to study here in Ecuador you didn’t hear of graphic design as a career, but thanks to an advisor who think I will be better in this career I decided to go and try it, now I feel like a make the best decision in my life, now with my own studio of branding I meet people with great ideas and I feel great helping them with the strategy and the design of their projects.
How would you define your vision of design, your style ?
I think design is a projection of ideas and decisions with a purpose, it goes beyond aesthetics and help improve people business and culture. I don´t have a style, all my decisions are driven by data that I gather in the interviews with my clients and their audience, is not about hearing what they want, is about giving them what they really need, and that is solving a specific problem.
For the future, what are your professional projects ?
Now I´m putting all my effort on my studio Pulsum Brands, hoping to keep meeting with great people with great ideas.
What do you like the most in your job ?
The reaction of my clients when they see their brand (or rebrand) for the first time, their smiles, their tears of happiness; this really makes me feel proud of my work and It´s the motivation I use to keep working hard in every single project.
