How did you become designer ?

Being a graphic designer wasn’t an obvious choice for me from the beginning. I was always drawn to the visual arts, how things around me look like. Once I discovered that visual expression can also fulfil a function, becoming a graphic designer was a natural step in my personal development.

How would you define your vision of design, your style ?

The main goal of my designs is to match beauty with functionality, so that form follows function. My style lays in the middle ground, where clean minimalism meets the decorative. I am a fan of Swiss design and minimalism, but I am also drawn to folk art. Being inspired by both worlds tends to show in my designs.

For the future, what are your professional projects ?

I intend on working with new brands that have values close to my own, like startups or artisan makers with innovative ideas.

I would also love to get the chance to work on designs for the music industry, like gig posters, merchandise or record sleeves.

What do you like the most in your job ?

As a graphic designer I get the chance to shape the identity of a brand and make sure it delivers its message in a creative way. Being responsible of the visual representation of a product and the way it will be perceived by people is scary and exciting at the same time.
