Discover the interview of Olha Takhtarova:

How did you become designer?

My love for design began in early childhood, and becoming a designer was a well-considered decision. It was neither accidental nor forced. I received a proper education, pursued self-learning, took courses to improve my professional skills, gained experience working in various companies, and eventually founded my own studio. I have no intention of stopping.

How would you define your vision of design, your style?

Design is a part of our material world — we live within it every day. It is a language, and if you’re fortunate enough to learn it, you gain the ability to communicate messages, evoke emotions, and influence how others feel. I would describe my design style as eclecticism, as I enjoy combining elements from different styles within a single project.

For the future, what are your professional projects?

I’m currently working on several design projects in the CPG sector while continuing to grow both professionally and through my studio. One of my future goals is to launch my own line of home decor products.

What do you like the most in your job?

What I like most about my work is the opportunity to dive into completely different worlds. As a designer, you have the privilege to step into various industries and understand people with very different goals and challenges.
That moment when the design fully responds to the brief and evokes the right emotions — when it touches and stays in memory — is the most rewarding part of the process.
