Discover the interview of MAROG Creative Agency in Yerevan, Armenia.
How did you become a branding agency ?
We started off as a full-cycle marketing company providing product marketing and communications services. It was a well thought out decision by our team to focus on the communications side of marketing because professional focus is key in being successful. Now we are a creative agency that the client can lean on from the phase of branding services to designing and implementing integrated communication campaigns. We have been in the industry for eight years and are considered one of the top creative agencies in Armenia. Branding is one of our key focuses and nowadays it has become a big thing in any marketing effort. If the brand is weak, so are the results of the company’s marketing efforts. However, when there is a strong brand, there is, definitely, a story to tell.
How would you define your vision of design, your style ?
It is a baseline concept for us not to have a style. The visual design of the brand has to have its own character, have its unique face and be no similar to the works we have produced before but be as good as the best one we have created. We believe not in great design but a design that tells a story, passes on the emotion it has to, that engages the customer/consumer the way it should, and that helps in marketing efforts rather than creates challenges for further communication and development. That’s the vision.
For the future, what are your professional projects ?
In the future we would like to work on the projects that involve broader scope of work and carry international character. We’d be honored and moved to be challenged.
What do you like the most in your job ?
Unlike other industries, ours is diverse, literally. No industry boundaries, no creative boundaries. The only boundary is the problem statement for the project. And we like to solve problems. Working with a team of like-minded people who want to make a difference and history. Our ambitions are high and we strive to excel ourselves which both is challenging but the most interesting part of our job.
