Discover the interview of Guilherme Mazzo in Cascavel – Paraná, Brazil
How did you become designer ?
When I was younger I always liked to draw. When I got my first PC, I started experimenting with things in Photoshop, very influenced by skate magazines and music stuff. When I grew up, the choice for a creative field was kind of obvious. At the time, my city didn’t have a graphic design college so I decided to study Advertising. I had no idea what I was going to do, but during the course I realized that I would like to work directly with graphic design, creating brands, packaging and visual stuff. Since then, I have dedicated myself to specializing in this area.
How would you define your vision of design, your style ?
In my projects I am always searching for a clean visual solution, aligned with the client’s goals. I do my best to express personality in a simple, vibrant and memorable way.
For the future, what are your professional projects ?
For the future I want to reach more customers, not only in Brazil, but also in the rest of the world. My biggest goal is to work with companies that believe in the strategic potential of design.
What do you like the most in your job ?
I love the process. Being able to bring life to an idea and see the result in a shop sign or a product label is something that I find super motivating.
