Discover the interview of Giulia Baldini in Roma, Italy.

How did you become designer ?

My journey into the world of design began about 11 years ago when I decided to undertake my university studies in an academy of communication and design.
I immediately started working for creative agencies and for my clients as freelancers.
From an early age I have always had a keen eye for details, colors, typography and I felt that one day my work had to be that.
In my projects I am constantly looking for details and I try to convey my vision in the graphic sign.
I love the synthesis of the sign and I love mixing different techniques for the realization of the project.
In addition to dealing with brand identity, I’m a motion designer. I believe that animation makes a strong contribution to almost every project I make.

How would you define your vision of design, your style ?

My style is mainly synthetic and geometric but at the same time of strong visual impact.
I often play with contrasts, with overlapping shapes and color palettes.
I love mixing different techniques of style and animation.

For the future, what are your professional projects ?

I would like to continue to create brand identity and packaging projects with innovative techniques. I love to see something that takes shape from my thoughts, from research, from a feeling and from my vision.
In addition to being a designer I also teach animation and I would like to continue to transmit my experiences and my knowledge to other people who approach Design. It is exciting to see the result of what you explain to people who want to do my own work.
I continuously study new digital communication and animation techniques and I would like to continue to be able to mix static digital graphics with moving ones.

What do you like the most in your job ?

I would like to continue to create brand identity projects with innovative techniques. I love to see something that takes shape from my thoughts, from research, from a feeling and from my vision.
