Giovanni Acquaviva - Armoder

Discover the interview of Giovanni Acquaviva – Armoder:

How did you become designer?

From a very young age I was already very curious about art and design.
When I finished classes at school, I used to spend most of my time drawing, becoming my passion. I studied visual communication and advertising graphics in Milan. Before finishing my studies, I started working in this profession uninterruptedly until today, first in Milan, in different studios, and later in Valencia in different advertising agencies until I created my own studio, Armoder.

How would you define your vision of design, your style?

One of the characteristics of my creative essence is the fusion of art and design. Sometimes, taking into account the nature of the commissioned project, I can apply not only this vision, but also capture other types of creative concepts.

For the future, what are your professional projects?

On the one hand, to continue working on image design projects for packaging / branding in the wine sector in which we have specialized in our studio. We are also passionate about working on designs applied to interior and exterior spaces, other products and editorial design. And, on the other hand, at the same time, continue with my most personal artistic works, which are not due to previous commissions from clients, but are the result of a difference in creative potentiality. These creations can be exhibited in art galleries or temporary exhibitions.

What do you like the most in your job?

I consider myself a privileged person, since I can develop my passion on a daily basis, which is to create and design. It is also very enriching to help clients to create the image for their products or their brand image.
