How did you become designer ?
Iris and I (Joel) met in college while studying graphic design. Soon after graduating, we moved to Las Vegas where we began our careers as professional graphic designers. 3 years later we moved back to our hometown region but not before backpacking the world for 6 months.
El Paso Texas is a region that borders Ciudad Juarez Mexico and Las Cruces New Mexico. The region is unlike anything else in the world, it is a mixture of cultures, traditions, food, colors, language, shapes etc… naturally, it seemed like the perfect time to move back and launch the studio to become part of the growth in the region.
How would you define your vision of design, your style ?
We are passionate about our work and we are constantly creating and innovating ideas to satisfy our client’s needs and lead their brands to success.
Being Honest, responsible and spontaneous is what identifies us.
Our style is very dynamic, we are inspired by everything that surrounds us; from alligators in the desert to hiking the Franklin Mountains we are able to break the rules.
For the future, what are your professional projects ?
Branding is the reason most clients come to us, specially in the restaurant bar industry. Although we work on various different projects, we are also starting to working on packaging design.
What do you like the most in your job ?
Being able to communicate without saying a word.
To become the client’s visual voice can be very challenging, which is part of being able to solve problems in our society.
