Antonio Cuenca

Discover the interview of Antonio Cuenca :

How did you become a designer?
I have always liked visual arts and everything related to aesthetics. I thought about doing a degree in Fine Arts, but when I discovered Graphic Design it was clear to me what I wanted to study. Later on, I realised how enriching and multi-faceted this profession is. You can develop your craft working with various sectors and projects while learning a lot of new things along the way. The areas in which I specialised are Branding and Packaging.

How would you define your design vision, your style?
I always work to synthesize in search of the essential, and based on that premise, my intention is for every project to have its own conceptual approach. I like to uncover what is evident but not seen. Design is actually more about removing rather than adding things. Also, my designs seem to feature some elements of Constructivism or Neo-plasticism.

For the future, what are your professional projects?
To continue designing and to manage projects; to make my studio grow and to learn along the way.

What do you like the most in your job ?
Getting to give shape to the initial ideas of the clients and positioning them in the right way so that they have a chance in the market.
