Serenade has been making chocolate in Brookline, MA for over 30 years. The mood in the shop is friendly and cheerful, and it’s always apparent that the owner and her employees put the utmost care into their creations. When I was asked to make a Boston-themed illustration for their chocolate advent calendar, my aim was to capture that friendly, hand-made feel in the design.
