Unbridled was created to challenge the traditional codes of a bourbon category historically dominated by classic and conservative narratives. Led by a Black woman and deeply connected to fashion, nightlife, and contemporary culture, the brand was designed to speak to a younger premium audience searching for identity, presence, and freedom inside the category.
Inspired by the founder’s family heritage as racehorse trainers, the project translates the tension and movement of a restrained horse into the bottle itself. Rather than relying on literal equestrian symbolism, the custom structure uses elongated proportions, sharp curves, and structural tension to create a silhouette that feels magnetic, powerful, and constantly pulling forward.
The visual system was developed to position Unbridled between luxury and nocturnal culture. Dark finishes, reflective materials, and a bold vertical presence distance the brand from traditional bourbon aesthetics while reinforcing its fashion-driven attitude and contemporary mindset.
More than a packaging project, Unbridled was designed as an object of desire. A bourbon built to create presence, spark culture, and embody one idea at its core: free to live the life you choose.
