The Challenge: I was tasked with creating a complete brand identity for AL NAQAR, a new luxury furniture accessories brand. The identity needed to reflect precision, luxury, and creativity, while strategically avoiding traditional industry clichés.
The Strategy & Concept: The inspiration came from nature’s most precise artist: the Woodpecker (in Arabic, “Al Naqar”). My strategy was to capture its abstract motion and essence, not the bird itself. This concept also directly inspired the brand name.
The Execution & Elements: The final logo is a dynamic fusion of the Latin letter “Q” (for Quality and global reach) and the Arabic letter “ن” (N) (representing the name’s origin). This abstract symbol simultaneously evokes the woodpecker’s precise motion, the elegant form of a luxury handle, and the “Q” for Quality. The color palette—deep Dark Blue (Trust/Luxury) and vibrant Rich Red (Energy/Passion)—was chosen to strategically balance these forces.
The Result: I delivered a complete, versatile visual identity system. It functions as a strategic symbol of precision, motion, and modern luxury, providing AL NAQAR with a unique and memorable brand story.
