Terra Rossa, which translates to ‘Red Earth’ is common terroir for grape growing in Mediterranean climates such as Montepulciano in Tuscany. This red shallow soil forms from hard limestone creating unique textures and growing conditions. Emulating this terroir using a label that depicts these unique textures of the red earth – the layers are embossed and the typographic elements debossed onto the paper stock to create the effect of being stamped into the soil.
