A personal project exploring the collaborative dynamic between Melissa and Nicole, the two founding partners of Party of One Studio. With the intent of creating illustrated vases adorned with summertime motifs, Melissa and Nicole made five vessels each—the first in isolation, exploring their own distinct style, and each subsequent vessel influenced by the other’s previous creation. The final two vases were created in tandem, as an exquisite corpse of illustrative techniques and learnings.
