We developed a distinct brand identity and unique packaging for Cumbé, a premium Aguardiente hand-crafted in Colombia. Our goals: to bring Guaro culture to the United States, and elevate what has been perceived as bottom shelf liquor. We worked closely with their Colombian teams (owners, distillers, and printers) to embody the coastal spirit of Colombia in the language and visual identity of the brand. The result is integrity and quality from product to design, establishing Cumbé as a shelf-dazzling contender in the premium class of finely made spirits. Recently featured in Vogue.

The retro aesthetic of the packaging design is more popular than ever, especially for food and drink products. Wherever you are on the planet, vintage labeling or packaging are present in every store. Vintage sells first of all because it conveys authenticity. And this is reflected in both the look but also the feel of the products. We returned to the old as the new “new”; returning to the roots of packaging design is a timeless classic that will never lose its appeal.
