How did you become designer ?
I used to be fond of watercolors – I’m also an artist. Sometimes I paint pictures and hold exhibitions in my city. Creativity associated with the visual art has always been close to me. I like to study objects and people, look at them and then express my analysis through pictures. Now I am engaged in package design. I’ve been interested in graphics software since I was 13. And my drawing skills came in handy. Soon, the designer profession found me. I don’t I know how it happened, but a year ago I couldn’t imagine that I would be totally jazzed about my work in the field of package design. Today I feel more than confident stating that I love my job!
How would you define your vision of design, your style ?
The style of my work is different. The tasks of my clients are not similar to each other. But most of all I like to combine watercolor drawings and graphic elements in the layout. I like to work with organic cosmetics. The style “Eco” is closest to me.
For the future, what are your professional projects ?
In the future, I would like to become sought-after specialist in the field of package design of cosmetic brands. Cosmetics is my favorite thing. This is what I understand as a girl and as a consumer. These are my plans for the near future. And then we’ll see. I will definitely think about a studio, I hope this thought will be not long in coming!
What do you like the most in your job ?
Most of all in my work I like to visualize layouts in 3D. Simulate these boxes and jars and immediately see my layouts on them, it helps very much at work on the concept. It helps seeing mistakes at once.
