How did you become designer?

Well, actually that was started from my hobby. I’m pretty love in drawing and take some interest in arts since a kid. Then, it’s just flow in my next and higher educations. I was take the painting class since pre-school and then elementary school. After that I thought that I must do something for people, something for solve the people’s problem because if I just stuck in drawing world, that’s only for pleasure of mine. I can’t do nothing for others. So I decide to graduate in Vocational School (Pre-Press Major) for my basic knowledge of graphic designing & printing, then I got my degree from Jakarta Institute of Arts in Graphic Design Major. From this educational journey, I found my interest, my pleasure, and my future. That’s to be a designer.

How would you define your vision of design, your style?

Honestly, I don’t have specific style when do the design process. But, i quite love the simply & clean one. One design, one message. For me design isn’t just a good looking result, but the most important is the ability to solve the problems. You have a good looking design but people doesn’t aware & got the message, it means you’ve made bad design. Your work was “so-so” looking but it got many attentions and awareness, that’s means you do the brilliant work.

For the future, what are your professional projects?

Some clients ever hiring me to do the Web and Mobile UI/UX Designs for next pro project. That’s the new field for me and I think that will be nice to learn something new.

What do you like the most in your job?

The biggest pleasure is when my client satisfied with my design work. And pay me nicely, hahaha. Before that I really enjoy when do brainstorming and sketching. But, I think every designer was have the same thought as me. Being designer is the one of dream job, so everything in design workflow must be likeable, isn’t?
