How did you become designer ?

Becoming a designer was a natural progression for me. Ever since I was a child, I gravitated towards creative subjects, and when my year 9 careers advisor told me about being a “graphic designer” as a career, I followed this path and studied design & creative subjects at school, and then went to University to study Visual Communication.

How would you define your vision of design, your style ?

Although I design for the brief at hand, a lot of my work tends to be simple & clever in nature which is why I love logo design so much… the challenge of encapsulating a whole company’s brand into one unique symbol.

For the future, what are your professional projects ?

I’m continuing to work as a freelance graphic designer and blogger, working with clients from all around the world in a large range of industries, and that’s what I love. Every project is so unique, and that keeps things fresh and interesting!

What do you like the most in your job ?

Working for yourself gives you freedom and flexibility and that’s something you just can’t get when working for the man. I consider myself very fortunate to have this!
