How did you become designer?

I remember drawing from a very young age. It was like a “safe zone” to me. Whenever I was too happy or sad or nervous I remember myself listening to music and drawing for a long time. I was interesting in logos, magazines layouts, T-Shirt graphic trends – combining letters, lines, colors and images together in order to create something new. I studied Graphic Arts and Artistic Studies at Technological Educational Institute of Athens and graduated in 2004. Since then, I have worked in several publishing agencies. The last 3 years I am working on my own as a freelancer.

How would you define your vision of design, your style?

I love minimal, strict lines, geometry shapes and balance.

For the future, what are your professional projects?

I have so many things on my mind.. but nothing specific. I would like working // travelling all over the world meeting new people, discovering different cultures, and getting more inspirations … setting new goals helping me every day of my life to make myself better.

What do you like the most in your job?

The whole procedure. At first, listening to the customer’s dream // idea. Then, I have to draw my lines and make the dream come true. It is quite difficult to set limits and work on the client’s abstract imagination and that’s the magic key. But, the most fabulous … that I never get bored. There is an endless feeling of trying to design something different, something special and make my world more beautiful.
