The brief of this project was to create a brand and a product line for frozen ready meals into premium market. The product line consisted on a starter, main meal and also a dessert.
Our goal was to make consumers feel that instead of opening a box for prepared food, they were opening a gift box, something special, more personal and bringing them a great use experience. In addition we intend to show the high quality of the raw material and present it in a white, clean and real environment.
To achieve the three objectives, we propose to present the main ingredient of each meal on a mostly white surface. This surface will change in each meal. For example, we decided to use crushed ice for fish meals so it is white, it is close to consumers and it communicates the freshness of the product. On the other side, for aubergine we decided to use a white wood table surface and marble surface for chocalate bits. These scenes are completed with a belt that covers part of the main ingredient. This belt shows the final product, the description, the brand and it explains the recipe of the meal on the back.
Finally, when consumers open the belt, they will feel like having a piece of wood, marble or a fresh fish on their hands.
